Day 18 – Lenten Reflection (Saturday – March 7) Today's reflection is based on the readings from Micah 7:14–15, 18–20, Psalm 103, and Luke 15:1–3, 11–32, focusing on the powerful parable of the Prodigal Son and the message of God's endless mercy. The story of the Prodigal Son reminds us that no matter how far we wander, God always welcomes us back with love. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus reveals the heart of God as a Father who runs toward His children with compassion, forgiveness, and joy. The prophet Micah reminds us that God delights in mercy and casts our sins into the depths of the sea. Psalm 103 echoes the same truth: the Lord is gracious, compassionate, and slow to anger. This Lenten reflection invites us to examine our hearts and ask: Where do I need to return to God? Do I trust in His mercy and forgiveness? How can I extend that same mercy to others? Lent is a journey of returning, healing, and rediscovering God's love.
