THE CORE SEED (MẦM SỐNG TRONG LÒNG ĐÁ) is a cinematic sci-doc survival story on Mars—where a five-person expedition discovers a natural lava tube hiding ancient sealed air pockets. Their sensors detect unusually high water vapor and nitrogen seeping through deep fractures—evidence of a primordial reservoir locked away for millions of years. Instead of trying to reshape a radiation-scorched surface, they make a bolder choice: build a massive “green lung” underground by guiding genetically adapted plant roots to drill deep into Martian rock. What begins as a scientific breakthrough quickly turns into a battle of engineering, pressure physics, and raw geology. The calm of the Tharsis plateau shatters when a micro-meteorite punctures an oxygen feed line during an EVA—triggering a red alert. With no time for patchwork fixes, the crew isolates the leak using an auto-seal valve and races for shelter before more debris hits. Deep inside the lava tube, LED arrays simulate sunlight as they seed “Mars-Oak” into mineral cracks fed by hidden ice and moisture. Oxygen production starts—too fast. Cave pressure spikes beyond the model, and the rock dome begins to fracture. Now the crew must climb exposed cliffs in full suit protection to install manual pressure-regulating valves—risking their lives to keep the underground ecosystem from collapsing. Then comes the twist: the air pockets may not be fully natural. The team finds signs of connectivity—like the tube links into an ancient, buried artificial cavern network. A massive Marsquake strikes. The entire system threatens to cave in, crushing humanity’s only long-term oxygen source. The crew faces an impossible decision: retreat to the surface dome and survive, or stay underground to activate robotic foundation reinforcements while their backpack oxygen runs dangerously low. Just when the reinforcement completes… a strange audio signal echoes from deeper within the rock—not from the expedition. A faint shadow appears at the far end of the tunnel. The camera glitches. Static. Cut to black.
