Camino Portuguese - Porto to Arcos

After some sight-seeing in Porto, we began our Camino adventure! After some research, we decided to leave Porto via the Litoral Way and cross over to the Central Way at Vila do Conde. You can see at the beginning of our Camino that we were given some excellent advice at the small information centre in Capela Nossa Senhora das Verdades. It was an excellent choice to follow the river as we left Porto and to experience the coast before heading to the Central Way. The transition proved challenging as the signage was limited after leaving Vila do Conde and the roads were very narrow, but we enjoyed the laughter it brought us and the signage improved as we made our way to Arcos. Despite the endless narrow cobblestone roads on day 2, we had a thoroughly great time!
