Here is an upload of a concert I filmed. It was a multicam set up that I edited down to this. It has the "audience experience" in that I left in the transitions between songs and sets, and left the intermission time in, during which I put in a little slideshow of some of the shots I took during the event. Lots of jazz classics are played, timestamps will come soon It's one of my first multicam video projects, so it's a one-man job, but I think it came out pretty well made. Enjoy! _______________________________ Filmed at El Camino College in Torrance, CA Equipment: Lumix G7 (on tripod) Lumix GX85/80 (hand held (that IBIS worked overtime for the distance/focal length I was working with) Canon r72 (On tripod (you can probably tell when its footage is being used)) Zoom H1n (on a mini tripod, the thing captures a lot of handling/body noise when not set up properly) Lenses: 45-150mm 45-200mm are what I think I mainly used Software: Shotcut _______________________________ Behind the Scenes: This band was surprisingly large so I had to adjust my thinking in how to film. When I was in a jazz band it was like 6 people, this caught me off guard. Sometimes I would hold the handheld while adjusting another camera on a tripod for a different angle, as is the trouble (but fun) in doing it as a one man job. In the intermission I turned off the cameras and kept the audio recording, then I thought of putting in a little slideshow, cuz why not. All in all, it was a ton of fun to watch in person, film and edit. I also learned a lot in editing and filming events. I would like to thank the administrators and directors of the event for letting me develop my craft in videography by doing this independent project.
