In an effort to Game-ify the combat base, I've started working on adding a "Game Director" that will use a Difficulty setting and some random objectives, to determine the enemy composition. Right now it's just a Basic Easy Mode, single objective to prove out the spawning and progression. Each room requires 20,000 points to complete, before the door will open. The first room is single color, with a 7 enemies. The second room is 2 colors with 9 max enemies, the third is 3 with 11, and so on. I can start to come up with more objectives and start randomizing them. Normal difficulty will probably not have a single color round, and max difficulty will just have all 4 colors for all rounds. Player hitpoints will adjust as well. It's fun to see this starting to come together. Questions and Comments? - Come Chat! - Discord: / discord
