No matter what was waiting for you under the tree there is a greater gift that God unfolded throughout history. As individuals and families, it is important for us to create moments in our traditions so that we remember the values that drive them, not just the value of the presents that go with them. The story of Christmas Day is a story we continue to share because of the amazing and enduring legacy it began. And because the rescue mission of Jesus worked! This Christmas, as we unwrap our gifts, we can look back at how God unfolded His great gift and let Him assure us of the days ahead that we can share together because of it.
