Hey guys! Today I am going to show you how to make a diamond pattern with a criss cross design in the middle. Let’s get started! Set-up: Cut 6 pieces of 3mm single strand twisted strings each piece is 2 meters long. Attach to your dowel using Lark’s Head knots. Tie a double half hitch knot with the two middle cords. Tie 5 more double half hitch knots working down and to the right. Move back to the middle of your work and tie 5 double half hitch knots working down and to the left. Tie a double half hitch knot with the two middle cords. Working down and to the right tie 4 more double half hitch knots. Move back to the middle of your work and tie 4 double half hitch knots working down and to the left. Split your cords into 4 sections of 2 cords each. Bring the two cords on the top left in front of the two cords on the top right and behind the two cords on the bottom right. Attach those two cords to the bottom of your diamond using double half hitch knots. Bring the two cords from the top right in front of the two cords on the on the bottom left and bring the two cords on the bottom left in front of the two cords on the bottom right. Attach those two cords to the bottom of your diamond using double half hitch knots. Attach the remaining 4 cords to the bottom of the diamond on the left side. Use a double half hitch knot to connect the two middle cords. Using the left cord as your filler cord tie 5 double half hitch knots working down and to the right. Using the right cord as your filler cord tie 5 double half hitch knots working down and to the left. Tie one more double half hitch knot with the two middle cords. Thanks for watching!
