Peak District Wildcamp | Laddow Rocks | Pennine Way | Crowden | Dovestones.

We finally got out on another big hike and Wildcamp! We've been very busy recently helping look after a new, beautiful, force of nature, energetic, mischievous, handful little puppy.. exhausting and joyous! 🥴 So, we really needed to spend a couple of days up in the wilderness, away from literally everything. We headed up to Alphin Pike from Carrbrook, Stalybridge, overlooking Dovestones, then walked along the peaks above Chew Valley and headed for Laddow Rocks at the top of Crowden Valley. We found a spot, which was tricky, just above the rocks and close to the Pennine Way. It was a much needed beautiful camp with some of our favourite views in the Peak District right outside our bedroom window for the night. The next morning we had breakfast sat by the Pennine Way and had some lovely chats with walkers who were in the process of doing the Pennine Way.. it's always really nice and interesting sharing tales with like minded campers and hikers! We didn't do as much filming as I had intended to do, we were exhausted, but there was enough to throw something together and have a wonderful memory to look back on of a really special camp.
