Welcome to Podbaba Transport Video 998, filmed in Birmingham City Centre on Monday 16th February 2026. We walked from St.Chad's to Library Centenary Square and, again, like most of this year so far, rain started whilst we were filming. It was definitely a CAF Urbos 3 day with ten of the class in service alongside 6 CAF Urbos 100s as follows: CAF Urbos 3: 17 18 21 23 24 25 29 30 35 36 CAF Urbos 100: 43 49 50 52AD 56 58 30 was changed over for 41 (that had been out on test all morning) because 30 had developed a door fault on return from Birmingham. 47AD – “there's no place like itv" advert has spent most of its advertising period out of service with defect after defect and, again, over this weekend, it has been out of service. Drivers were saying that the big increase in CAF Urbos 3 use in recent weeks is due to them having very flat batteries, due to the amount of time they have not been used, in the hope that more use will enable them to work effectively once more.
