Held over the weekend of Friday 11th - Sunday 13th of October, the Bluebell Railway's annual 'Giants of Steam' Gala always promises to be a good spectacle. This year, mainline stalwarts 7MT - 70000 "Britannia" and B1 - 61306 "Mayflower" were to grace Bluebell metals for the event, bolstering three members of the home-fleet. Representing the Bluebell stables, 73082 - renumbered as scrapped classmate 73087 "Linette" for the event - ran alongside Q Class - 30541, and recently overhauled 4MT Tank - 80151. The Sunday of the gala also featured a 'Loaded Run', with 70000 "Britannia" at the helm of two coach sets tailed by 61306 "Mayflower" - a load equating to 500 tons. Locomotives: BR Standard Class 5MT - 73087 "Linette" (73082 "Camelot") BR(E) B1 Class - 61306 "Mayflower" BR Standard 'Britannia' Class 7MT - 70000 "Britannia" Ex-SR Q Class - 30541 BR Standard Class 4MT Tank - 80151 All footage filmed on Sunday the 13th of October 2019.
