Kruger National Park Trip Summary Dates: 29 May – 1 June 2025 Guests: Terence and Hayley (from New Zealand) From 29 May to 1 June 2025, I had the pleasure of taking Terence and Hailey, two visitors from New Zealand, on a memorable trip to the Kruger National Park. Our base for the duration of the visit was the Tamboti Tented Camp, offering a more immersive and rustic bushveld experience. During our stay, we explored several iconic rest camps within the park, including: Satara Rest Camp – known for its excellent predator sightings. Olifants Rest Camp – offering breathtaking views over the Olifants River. Skukuza Rest Camp – the largest camp in the park and a central hub for many activities. Letaba Rest Camp – a serene location famous for its elephant sightings. While at Letaba, we also visited the Elephant Museum, where we learned about some of the park’s legendary tuskers and the conservation efforts surrounding them. It was an educational and enriching experience that added depth to our understanding of Kruger’s wildlife.
