We return to one of our favourite railway stations, Manors, for an afternoon of trains and sunshine. After Tommy finished school, we headed to Cramlington station where we saw a few trains before catching a Northern to Manors. At Manors, we saw a Class 66 freight train that we hadn't seen before, 66768 Yvonne Bradley as well as Daddy's favourite livery, Our Planet, LNER Azuma 801204. That arrived at the same time as an empty stock Azuma was heading in the opposite direction which caused some confusion. We got lots of horn blasts and a couple of crossovers to make it a great afternoon. We haven't been out much recently due to being busy with other things but we do have a couple of exciting trips in the pipeline around the back half of half term next week. After seeing some older boys creating videos of trains at our local station, we were inspired to give it a go ourselves. Our main aim is to have fun spending quality father/son time together whilst creating videos of interesting trains at lots of different stations, waving at the drivers to show how much we appreciate them. Sometimes they wave back, sometimes they blast the horn and other times, they're busy doing their important job. Daddy records whilst Tommy stays in front of the camera. We have lots of fun but SAFETY is always our priority. We'd love to hear your feedback and any suggestions of interesting places to visit for my next video. Cut 🙂
