Today’s recipe is a tasty and simple Ladies Finger Curry (Bhindi Curry / Okra Gravy) made in an easy home-style method. This curry is soft, flavorful, and perfect to enjoy with hot rice or roti 😋 🥬 Ingredients Ladies finger / Bhindi / Okra (cut into big pieces) Oil – 2 tbsp Tempering seeds (mustard seeds) Green chillies – 2 (slit) Curry leaves Onion – 1 (finely chopped) Turmeric powder – ½ tsp Salt – as required Tomatoes – 2 (sliced) Red chilli powder – 1 tsp Tamarind juice – as required Water – 1 glass Coriander leaves – for garnishing 🍳 Recipe Preparation Heat oil in a pan and add tempering seeds. Let them splutter. Add slit green chillies and curry leaves. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until soft. Add turmeric powder and mix well. Add chopped ladies finger pieces and salt. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes. Add sliced tomatoes, mix well, and cook until the tomatoes become soft. Add red chilli powder and mix. Add tamarind juice and a glass of water. Cook for 10 minutes until the gravy thickens. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Delicious ladies finger curry is ready to serve!
