A’s Kitchen Recipes Singaporean Rice Ingredients Step:1 (Rice) Ingredients Rice:1 pound (1/2kg) Salt:1 tbsp Water:1 liter Method [ ] Wash n Soak rice in water for about 1/2 an hour. [ ] In the meantime Boil 1 liter water with 1 tbsp of salt. [ ] Add in the soaked and finsed rice in it. [ ] Boil the rice until 90% done [ ] Rinse the water when cooke [ ] Turn the rice in the same pot and cover and give a steam for 5-10 minutes to cook completely. [ ] Turn off the flame and keep aside. STEP:2 (Spaghetti) Ingredients Spaghetti:1 pound(1 pack or 1/2kg) Water:1 liter Oil:2-3 tbsp Fresh chopped garlic Salt:1 tsp Black pepper:1 tsp Soya sauce:2-3 tbsp Fresh Crushed garlic:5-7 cloves Mixed Chinese vegetables Shredded cabbage:1 cup on Shredded carrots :1/2 cup or 1 carrot Bell peppers:1 Julian cut Spring onion:3 chopped METHOD [ ] Boil water [ ] Add in the spaghetti [ ] Spoon occasionally [ ] Check in 10 minutes if done rinse. [ ] Take a pan and sauté the garlic [ ] Add in all vegetables and stir fry. [ ] Add in 2-3 tbsp soya sauce and 1 tsp salt n black pepper each. Continue spooning on high flame. [ ] When done keep aside. STEP :3 ( Cooking Chicken ) Ingredients Chicken small chunks cut:1 pound Oil:2 tbsp Fresh minced garlic:1 tbsp Salt:1 tsp Black pepper:1 tsp Red chili powder:1/2 tsp Chicken powder:1 tbsp Chili garlic sauce:1/2 cup Ketchup:1/2 cup Siracha or hot sauce:1 tablespoon METHOD [ ] Saute the gatlic in 2 tbsp of oil [ ] Add in the chicken chunks and mix n cook for 5 minutes until color changes and smells good [ ] Add in all spices and sauces mentioned above [ ] Cover n Cook until tender on medium flame. [ ] Make it juicy if it dries add little water. [ ] Keep aside for layering. STEP:4 ( Singaporean rice Sauce) Ingredients Mayonnaise:1 cup Ketchup:1/2 cup Vinegar:1 tbsp Chili garlic Hot sauce or siracha sauce:1 tbsp METHOD [ ] Mix all ingredients with a whisker. [ ] Keep aside. STEP 5 (Baghar) Ingredients Oil:1/2 cup Garlic cloves :5-7 sliced Green chilies chopped Method [ ] Warm the oil in a pan. [ ] Add in the sliced garlic and chopped chilies. [ ] Fry until golden brown [ ] Takeout from the oil and keep aside. LAST STEP (LAYERING) [ ] Now in a clean table or counter top set all the cooked foods [ ] Start layering first layer Rice in a tray. [ ] Spread sauce over it [ ] Then a layer of spaghetti [ ] Chicken over it [ ] Spread in more sauce [ ] Top with baghar of fried garlic and green chilies Enjoyyy our delicious recipe 😋 #foodlover
