Singaporean Rice with fried chicken STEP: 1 RICE Rice: 2 cups Salt: 2 tsp Water: 4 cups Method [ ] Boil rice in 4 cups of water, add in 2tsp of salt to it. [ ] On a high flame, cook uncovered [ ] When little water is left, give it a steam on a covered lid for 5 minutes. [ ] Keep aside STEP:2 (Spaghetti) Ingredients Spaghetti:1 pound(1 pack or 1/2kg) Water: 1 liter Oil: 2-3 tbsp Fresh chopped garlic:1 tbsp(3-5 cloves crused) Salt:1 tsp Black pepper:1 tsp Soya sauce: 2-3 tbsp Fresh Crushed garlic: 5-7 cloves Mixed Chinese vegetables Shredded cabbage: 1 cup on Shredded carrots: 1/2 cup or 1 carrot Bell peppers: 1 Julian cut Spring onion: 3 chopped METHOD [ ] Boil water [ ] Add in the spaghetti [ ] Spoon occasionally [ ] Check in 10 minutes if done, rinse. [ ] Take a pan and sauté the garlic [ ] Add in all vegetables and stir fry. [ ] Add in 2-3 tbsp soya sauce and 1 tsp salt and black pepper each. Continue spooning on high flame. [ ] When done, keep aside. STEP: 3 CHICKEN MARINATION CHICKEN: 1 pound Egg: 1 Flour: 2 tbsp Corn flour: 2 tbsp Baking powder: 1/2 tsp Salt: 1 tsp Crushed red pepper: 1 tsp Black pepper: 1 tsp Oil for deep frying METHOD [ ] Marinate chicken for about 1/2 an hour or more . [ ] Deep fry it. [ ] Keep aside STEP:4 SAUCE Ingredients Mayonnaise:1 cup Ketchup:1/2 cup Vinegar:1 tbsp Chili garlic Hot sauce or siracha sauce:1 tbsp METHOD [ ] Mix all ingredients with a whisk. [ ] Keep aside. STEP 5 (Baghar) Ingredients Oil: 1/2 cup Garlic cloves: 5-7 sliced Green chillies chopped Method [ ] Warm the oil in a pan. [ ] Add in the sliced garlic and chopped chillies. [ ] Fry until golden brown [ ] Takeout from the oil and keep aside. LAST STEP (LAYERING) [ ] Now, in a clean table or countertop, set all the cooked foods [ ] Start layering the first layer of rice in a tray.
