The FBR issued SRO 1180(I)/2022 on July 27, 2022 to apply fresh property valuation for capital city of the country, The revenue body said that this notification would come into force with effect from August 01, 2022. (b) Rs. 1000 per square foot if the superstructure is more than five years old. The enhanced rates for tax year 2022 are 55%, 49% and 35% if gross advances to deposit ratio was upto 40%, 40-50% or above 50% respectively. For tax year 2023, and onwards tax rates will be 55%, 49% and 39% if gross advances to deposit ratio is upto 40%, 40 -50% or above 50% respectively.
