Easy Veggie Hash Brown Omelette , no eggs needed. This easy veggie hash brown omelette uses no eggs, no oil and is weight loss and starch solution friendly. If you have been missing having an omelette then this veggie hash brown omelette is for you. Here is what you will need for this easy veggie hash brown omelette. Ingredients: 1/2 cup chickpea flour 1/2 cup water salt and pepper to taste 2 1/2 - 3 cups cups frozen hash browns (thawed) 2 cups frozen roasted peppers and onions(saute till heated through) 1/2 cup chopped fresh spinach onion powder garlic powder smoked paprika plant based cheese sauce Link to the cheese sauce • New Plant Based Cheese Sauce with Potato B... Instructions: First mix together the chickpea flour and water to make a thin batter, add salt and pepper to taste and set aside. Place hash browns on a preheated non stick griddle @ 350 degrees or a non stick skillet. Working quickly using a spatula spread the hash browns out and make them into a rectangle. You want to make sure they are not too thin. Make sure there are no spaces in the hash browns and are about 1/4 inch thick. Let the hash browns cook until they are about 90 % done. Using a spatula divide the hash browns down the middle and make a small separation there. Season with onion powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Next add a thin layer of cheese sauce over both hash browns and let cook for 2 minutes then add a thin layer of the chickpea flour mixture over the hash browns, make sure it is a thin layer. The heat from the griddle with cook it from underneath. Once the chickpea flour mixture is set, about 5 minutes add the veggies and the spinach to one half of each hash brown. Using a spatula flip the bare side over the side with the veggies. Then do the same to the other one. Turn the griddle of the skillet off and let the omelettes sit there for a minute or two.
