Ingredients 12 Bread Slices 01 Cup Milk (Full Cream) 03 Cups Sugar (450 gms) 06 Cups Water (1 Litre) 02 Green Cardamom 08 Saffron Strands 03 Drops Rose Water 1/6 Lemon Juice Slice 500 ml Desi ghee (Clarified Butter) Bread Gulab Jamun Recipe Preparation Method : 1) To a skillet/utensil, add 1 Litre water, followed by Sugar, and cook at a high flame, while continuously stirring. 2) keep stirring until the sugar dissolves completely, and after 10 minutes Add 4 crushed Green Cardamom along with seeds. 3) Remove and discared the green cardamom, and add saffron strands, Rose water and cook for another 5 minutes. 4) Add 5 drops of lemon juice, since lemon juice is acidic in nature it avoids the syrup to crystalize into sugar molecules. 5) Keep this sugar syrup aside, we will use it later on to dip our fried Bread Gulab Jamuns. 6) Discard the browns from the bread slices and grind the whites into fine bread crumbs within a grinder. 7) To a bowl add these bread crumbs along with full cream milk and knead it do a fine dough, make sure you knead it thoroughly to create moist Bread Gulab Jamun. 8) Create small round balls of the dough and deep fry them in desi ghee at a medium flame for 10 minutes or until the Bread Gulab Jamuns turn golden brown in colour. 9) Now retrieve the Bread Gulab Jamuns and add them to the sugar syrup you prepared in step 1 to step 5, put off the flame of the sugar syrup, let them be soaked in the syrup for an hour or two. 10) Serve the Bread Gulab Jamuns hot and optionally with a scoop of cold vanilla ice-cream, enjoy with your family and friends :) YouTube Channel : / guruscooking Facebook Page : / guruscooking Website Url : http://www.GurusCooking.in
