Gil Stanford has a problem, and it isn't his former tenant, Susie Norman. No, Gil's problem seems to be that he's a greedy landlord having another crack at suing Ms. Norman for damages to his property even though they settled duelling claims two years ago. Gil has more problems, too. He claims $1,000 in labor spent getting rid of her stuff, while Ms. Norman says the city removed all that stuff for free. He says he spent thousannds repainting the place she occupied for only six months. And he claims she owes $1,800 for two interior doors that took him 18 hours to replace. But those aren't Gil's biggest problems. His biggest problem is that he collected over $15,000 in rent on a property he wasn't legally allowed to rent.
