You can lock features for basic members by cloning the relevant member form (for example, Contact Details), making specific fields read-only, and adding an upgrade prompt plus an optional upgrade link. Then you assign that custom form to the basic membership plan so it only applies to those users. Need hands-on help? Go to Finance → Membership Plans → Edit → Member Dashboard and select the cloned form. ✅ Members can’t save their profile anymore – Check you didn’t leave a locked field set as required. ✅ The field doesn’t look locked enough – Add clearer placeholder text and a help link. You can also style the help text (bold, smaller font, etc.). ✅ My upgrade link isn’t clickable – Make sure you pasted the linked text into Help Text (not a plain-text-only area), and test it after saving.
