"You'll get Dizzy playing this action packed cartoon adventure as you somersault around Fantastic Mystical Kingdoms. Collect the ingredients for a magical potion to kill the evil Wizard ZAKS - a brilliant game by brilliant programmers for brilliant games players!" The first in the Dizzy series of games and also one of the most challenging. The aim of the game is to collect the key ingredients to mix up the spells/potions required to defeat the wizard. To do so required traversing left to right all the games screens to collect one item at a time and take it where it needs to go. This also adds to some frustration as you are constantly going over the same route with plenty of dangers that can kill you in an instant. Still there are plenty of extra lives to be found and there are objects to pick up to destroy the organic dangers. It's this aspect of the longplay i'm not happy with. In order to keep the video length sane I stick mostly to the objectives and avoid the enemies although I have tried to show the usage of the special objects. It just adds extra time for doing so with constant backtracking due to holding one item at a time. Overall a good game, but it doesn't make for a good video. However, dizzy really steps up his game in the upcoming sequel with be able to hold 3 items at a time while having you complete the game in a single life. 00:00:00 Title Music 00:01:20 Game Dizzy, developed and published by Codemasters in 1988.
