In this video, we are bringing you another state capitol - Chyenne, Wyoming. This capitol only offers self-guided tours. They do offer a short video, which we watched, to give more history behind what you see in the building. For example, one of the columns on a staircase was purposely installed upside down because only God makes things perfectly. There are fossils in the black marble tile on the floor. The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens was actually free to all visitors. We enjoyed walking through the inside areas - learning that the banana "tree" is actually an herb. Don't worry, the banana is still a fruit. We ate some delicious BBQ at the AB Campground and RV Park. There was also a nearby trail we could bike from the campground - no need to drive to the trailhead. We named our RV Shelly because when we travel, we’re taking our home with us wherever we go, much like a turtle does. Shelly is a stuffed box turtle who rides along on our RV dashboard in her bed. We used to travel in a 2000 Class C Gulfstream Conquest when our three kids were preschool age through their middle school years. We loved it and often talked about traveling once the kids started their own lives. Talking about traveling was fun! But it’s more fun to actually do it! There is so much to see in this great country of ours! We enjoy exploring cities, but we really like the small towns with “oddball” attractions. Currently, we are traveling full-time in our 2019 Tiffin Allegro Open Road 32SA. We sold our house at the end of April 2022. We really enjoy meeting people throughout our travels. So, don’t be shy, come say hi!
