For this, you'll need a stick, PVC pipe, or even a broomstick if that's what you have at home. Lie on your back with the stick placed under your right leg and over your left leg. Ensure you support your neck adequately to avoid any strain. Now, with your right leg, push against the stick while simultaneously pulling up with your left leg. As you stabilize with your hands, maintain this position for about 5 seconds, then relax. Repeat this movement as prescribed. Afterward, grab a block or a towel and place it between your legs, then squeeze your thighs together for another 5 seconds, repeating this action twice. Next, position your hands on the outside of your knees, or if you have someone assisting you, they can place their hands there. Push out against the resistance for 5 seconds, repeating this process two times. This correctional routine targets a right anterior or a left posterior pelvic rotation. However, it's crucial to discuss this with your physical therapist, as variations may be necessary depending on your body's specific alignment.
