Hoover Elite 700 U4511-900 Upright Vacuum

This is my vintage Hoover Elite 700 upright vacuum (from 1990), model U4511-900, that I bought on eBay from YouTube user, vacuumlover1 (   / @vacuumlover1  . I wanted this vacuum because this is honestly one of the more unique Elite models since it's a TOL version of the Elite 600 with much more high-end features. The Elite 700 was the top-of-the-line model in its day, compared to the Elite 600 (   • Hoover Elite 600 U4473 Upright Vacuum  ) which was just a step below, and the Elite 350 (   • Hoover Elite 350 U4459 Upright Vacuum  ) which was a more mid-grade model. The Elite series started back in the late 80s and soon became the successor to the legendary Convertible series, and its popularity rose fast, because of how lightweight & powerful they were. This didn't come with any tools, but you can find an attachment tool converter, and I had one left from my Elite 350, and that attaches on the bottom of the machine, but unfortunately, this example was missing the dusting brush and the crevice tool. It features a 6.7 amp motor with direct air design and takes Hoover Type A bags (this example is running the HEPA bags that are available but a big pricey but worth it in the filtration and increased performance). The suction is not the good, the airflow is fantastic, and the agitation is amazing for a machine that has its original double row brush roll. My only complaints about this machine is that it's quite loud when in use, and can sometimes be very vulnerable when using since it's entirely made out of plastic. Overall, I absolutely love this vacuum and is certainly better than anything Hoover makes today.
