AMAZING trainspotting at Edinburgh Waverley, ECML (27.5.25)

After coming up on Avanti West Coast all the way up from Milton Keynes Central earlier that day, I spent a few hours at Edinburgh Waverly Station, the terminus of the East Coast Main Line from London Kings Cross, but a few trains a day operate from London Euston to Edinbrugh on the West Coast Main Line. Edinburgh Waverley Station is the main and largest station serving the Scottish Capital, with a lot of different train operators using it, including ScotRail which use it to go to pretty much everywhere in Scotland with a very diverse fleet of rolling stock, LNER with there services stopping and starting there to London running on the East Coast Main Line to lots of different town and cities, you also have LUMO doing the same. Transpennine Express also serve the station with services to Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester, and Glasgow sometimes. CrossCountry services start and finish at Edinburgh, operating to pretty much everywhere across England and a few trains head to Wales, and some CrossCountry services continue to Glasgow. I filmed at the Eastern End of the station, where all the traffic arriving and departing on the East Coast Main Line is, the Western End of the station is mostly dedicated to ScotRail services to Northen and Western Scotland, with a handful of ScotRail services using the Eastern End of the station to serve southern Scotland.
