Journey to Taganana's Hidden Beaches in Anaga, Tenerife | Cinematic 4K Travel Vlog

Today's cinematic travel vlog takes us from the small town of La Esperanza, deep into the Anaga Rural Park, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. Anaga is the oldest part of Tenerife island, formed around 7 or 9 million years ago by a volcanic erruption. It's a landscape filled with craggy peaks, deep ravines, colourful traditional buildings and rare laurel forests. On the west coast of Anaga is Taganana, a village perched upon arguably Tenerife's most pristine and enchanting coastline. The coast here is wild with beautiful rocky outcrops and islets like the Anaga rocks and with black-sand and shingle beaches such as Benijo beach, Almaciga beach and Playa del Roque de las Bodegas. Along with gorgeous beaches and breathtaking scenery, the area also houses some delicious restaurants. My personal favourite was Restaurante El Frontón, perched just behind one of the coastline's best beaches, Playa de Benijo. This restaurant specialises in serving fresh seafood, caught from a local market that morning. You can't really get more local than that! As you can see, our journey was incredibly scenic. I had hoped for the vlog to be a bit more rounded, including more vlogging segments, but somehow ended up with a rather cinematic video. Never bother, I actually like the relaxing vibe. It sums up our day perfectly - a scenic drive through the Anaga Rural Park and beaches.
