A minimal physical action—the release of a solid acrylic bar onto the piano strings—produces inverse consequences that, while foreseeable, remain difficult to control. These secondary effects generate timbral, harmonic, and rhythmic results that are subsequently reinterpreted by the ensemble. Acrílico explores the boundary between unpredictability and control, translating material behavior into musical form.
