The Epic of Tecumseh~ History from Home

Tecumseh was born in 1768 into a world where America was on the path to Independence, and encroachment on the lands of his forefathers was all but guaranteed by this new Nation. Thus, Tecumseh and his brother, the soon to be Prophet Lalawethika (Later Tenskwatawa), fought in the Northwest Indian War as members of Blue Jacket's Northwest Confederacy against the United States. The pair saw defeat at the decisive Battle of Fallen Timbers, and went back to a peaceful life following the war. However, further encroachment by the Americans would force Tecumseh out of this peaceful life, and cause him to try to revive the Northwest Confederacy.
