Mariena Mercer, at the Chandelier bar in the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas created the original version, which uses a flower from the toothache plant. This yuzu juice cocktail has some very interesting citrus ingredients and uses edible flowers. It’s topped off with a strange flower known as a buzz button, electric daisy, or Szechwan flower, which alters your taste buds and can even create a numbing effect. (45 ml) Tequila .75 oz. (20 ml) Yuzu Juice .5 oz. (15 ml) Calamansi Juice Concentrate 1 oz. (30 ml) Ginger Syrup (I used Liber Ginger Syrup) .5 oz. (15 ml) Simple Syrup Buzz Button for garnish Put all liquid ingredients in a shaker full of ice.
