On this video I show you guys a little of a super fun summer day of doing some Stand Up Paddleboarding in Sooke on Vancouver Island. The chosen location was Goodridge Peninsula, a beautiful place where many people choose to do water activities due to it being a peninsula and therefore a place of tranquil waters. Not a lot of currents there and it's wide enough that it doesn't feel cramped or crowded at all. Luckily enough, on the day this video was shot we had a warm high-tide day which were the perfect conditions to explore every little corner of the peninsula for a whole 3 hours of relaxing paddleboarding. If you don't own any equipment that is absolutely fine. There's a place right at the parking lot where you can rent kayaks and SUPs and/or book guided tours and lessons in the area. It's called Rush Adventures and you can look them up online. Also, there's a restaurant there with outdoor sitting which makes it the perfect way to finish off the day. They serve great food and great locally brewed beer, if that sounds like something you'd like to do they're called Stickleback West Coast Eatery.
