I first heard Remo Palmier at a tribute concert to Barney Kessel in 1997. I was floored by the elegance of his playing, got in touch, and was fortunate enough to spend a number of years studying with him. He was a remarkable musician of great depth and a wonderful teacher. His magnificent arrangements featured rich harmonies and brilliant voice leading. This is one of my favorites, played on my DeArmond equipped 1951 Gibson L-4C.
