Introduction for the Devlog Series of my Game Sandfire, that I am currently developing in the Godot Game Engine. It's an adventure, action RPG in a fantasy world filled with magic and mysteries. Plot in short: -The Game takes place in a profound abyss has been created, thousands of years ago, by using long forgotten magic. -In the World outside the Abyss, people currently fall sick due to the strange abyss magic. You will play as one of the poor souls that died from the magic decease. -But one of the ancient magic beings inherits the deceased body of the protagonist and grants him power. That enables the player to fight against the menacing abyss-monsters with the long-forgotten magic. -Because the population must deal with many deaths, they decided to carry the bodies down the abyss. -This is where the Protagonist will start his adventure descending the Abyss in order to find powerful Artifacts and ultimately learn the true source of the magic-decease. -Humanity started many expeditions down the Abyss in order to research the origin of the magic sickness, but only few people make it back to the surface. -Even today nobody has reached the bottom of the abyss and merely rumors exist about what is waiting for you there.
