Feijoa & Apple Crumble Slice Recipe : In a bowl, mix: 2 Cups of Plain Flour 1/2 a Cup of Rolled Oats 1/2 a Teaspoon of Baking Powder 1/2 a Teaspoon f Cinnamon A Pinch of Salt In another bowl, mix together: 125g Softened Butter or Margarine 1/2 a Cup of Brown Sugar 1 Egg Combine the liquid into the dry ingredients and mix again. Grease a 20cm tin and pretty down about 1.5 cups of the mixture in the baking tin, reserving the rest for the crumble topping. Put this in the oven at 180oC for 12 minutes while you prepare the fruit. For the fruit, mix 3 cups of fruit (I used half feijoas and half apples) diced into small pieces, along with: 1 Tablespoon of Brown Sugar 1 Tablespoon of Flour 1/2 a Teaspoon of Cinnamon Mix these together until it's no longer dry. Add your fruit onto the base while it's still warm, then break up the rest of the mixture and put on top in small blobs. Put it back in the oven for around 20 minutes until the topping is just starting to brown slightly. Either have straight away with cream, ice cream or yoghurt or this works great cold as a snack in lunchboxes. 0:00 Introduction 0:39 Recipe 6:00 Slicing & Tasting
