Welcome to a Rail Town Productions film, in this film we are featuring: Timbertown's "The Green Hornet". Which is a 0-4-2 steam locomotive operating on 595mm gauge, on the now closed tourist attraction called Timbertown. Timbertown was located in the town of Wauchope. Wauchope is located along the Oxley Highway between Walcha and Port Macquarie, as well as the North Coast (Brisbane to Sydney) Line serviced by XPTs. On the northern side of the town there is the Hastings River. Timber was a major export of the Wauchope region and which led to the inspiration of the theme park called "Timbertown". Unfortunately having to close its doors, an auction will be held in May 2026.
