Efficiency, when applied to YGO, reveals a lot of useful insight into the deck-building process. Learn more about Efficiency in Yu-Gi-Oh! HERE: Physically, Efficient is a ration of the output to the input, and it's a measure of how well you use your energy. High efficiency is preferred means to have high output with relatively low input. In this video, we're going to compare the resources that we put into an engine to the resources that we get out of it. Now of course, because resource management is so important to this whole idea, I think it's best to check out this playlist if you are unfamiliar with any of the terms. Learning this will definitely help in general. • Resource Management As a short written review here, there are three major resources: Card Advantage, Tempo, and The Philosophy of Fire (Fire). Card Advantage refers to the cards available to you in your hand and on your field. Tempo refers to your ability to play the game and includes things like your ability to summon monsters, activate cards/effects, and attack. I didn't mention it there, but an example of a card that uses Tempo as a resource is Card of Demise; you trade your ability to special summon and deal damage for 1-3 cards, so you trade Tempo for Card Advantage when using Card of Demise. Now, the final resource is Fire, which refers to your life points, cards in your deck, and cards in your graveyard. So in this video, we compare the resources required for a few engines and what we get out of them. Now I think this is a great exercise that you guys should try on your own decks. Look at some other engines in the game that you might be playing, and really think about what you need to make them work and what they give you afterwards. I didn't mention it in the video, but I think of something like the Brilliant Fusion engine; You only need to have 1 Fusion Monster in your extra deck Contacts and Social Media Links: Facebook: facebook.com/toptieryugioh Twitter: twitter.com/toptieryugioh Tumblr: / toptieryugioh Chat with me on DuelAmino (on iOS and Android): TopTierYugioh Email: TopTierYugioh@Yahoo.com Thanks for watching/reading, TopTierYugioh Music Information: Music by Ninety9Lives Axtasia - Switch Video: • Axtasia - Switch | Cheat Code (Free Download) Download / Stream: http://99l.tv/SwitchYU
