Love Part 1: The Good Samaritan Scripture: Luke 10 In Luke 10, Jesus tells the parable of the Good Samaritan, teaching us what it truly means to love our neighbor. Through this story, Jesus challenges us to look at our hearts and ask: Do we have this kind of love? As we journey through life, we will encounter people who are hurting, wounded, and in need. In those moments, we are given an opportunity—often only once—to respond with love through kindness, care, generosity, and compassion. The Lord calls us to this way of living. If we say we are in Him and He is in us, then agape love must be evident in how we treat others. We are not called to pass by like the priest or the Levite, but to live like the Good Samaritan—showing mercy, compassion, generosity, and kindness wherever our path leads. This is our calling as followers of Christ.
