Join Dr Julie Haddock-Millar, Prof David Clutterbuck, and Dr Chandana Sanyal as they lead this dialogue on the professionalisation of Mentoring and Coaching programs, with a focus on the Programme Manager's role. Julie, David and Chandana will share an overview of the 7th edition of the Routledge / EMCC Global Master Series in Coaching and Mentoring. The forthcoming book, due to be published in October 2025 – Mentoring in Practice: A Guide to Success – showcases 22 mentoring programme case studies from across the globe and features many of our EMCC Global accredited Mentors/Coaches/Supervisors and Programme Managers and organisations. Participants will be invited to explore their programme practice and their journey to professionalisation, sharing insights in a community forum. About Dr Julie Haddock-Millar Julie is currently Associate Professor (Practice) and Senior Teaching Fellow of Human Resource Management and Development at Middlesex University Business School and Visiting Professor at the International University of Monaco. EMCC Global Master Practitioner, Individual and Team Supervisor, PhD, Mentoring. The last fully active survivor of the pioneers of coaching and mentoring. His roles include being Special Ambassador for the oldest professional association in the field - the European Mentoring and Coaching Council - and visiting faculty at various universities. He continues as practice leader in international consultancies David Clutterbuck Partnership (DCP) and Clutterbuck Coaching & Mentoring International (CCMI) which specialise in supporting organisations in developing mentoring and coaching programmes, and in establishing sustainable mentoring and coaching cultures. DCP also offers consultancy and training in Systemic Talent Management. Directly or indirectly, he has educated an estimated 1 million plus coaches, mentors and team coaches globally. Everything he does revolves around helping people and organisations harness the power of dialogue - to have the conversations that will bring about positive change. David has written or co-written more than 80 books on coaching, mentoring, leadership, team development and talent management. He maintains a constant flow of research in all these areas and works with some of the world’s leading companies to apply the learning. He’s been recognised as a Coaching Legend by Thinkers 50 in 2024 and received numerous other awards over the decades. Amongst his current projects are a programme to create five million school age mentors globally; an investigation into coach-AI partnerships; and the development of complex, adaptive systems approaches to teams and teams of teams. About Dr Chandana Sanyal Chandana is an Associate Professor in Human Resource Management and Development at Middlesex University Business School and European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC Global) Lead Assessor and Specialist Advisor. She is an EMCC Global Master Practitioner Accredited Coach and Mentor, Master Practitioner Team Coach, accredited Mentor and Coach Supervisor, Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Higher Education Academy. Chandana’s current research interests are action learning, leadership development, mindfulness and self-care and impact evaluation in coaching and mentoring.
