Three Generations TRY The Best BOTHY In WALES || A Derelict Farmstead

This week we bring the girls on a overnight adventure taking them completely out of their comfort zone to a Bothy in the Cambrian Mountains!! We are also joined by Bushcraft Barry. It was an experience With awful weather, limited supplies & no electric. However we were treated to a flushing toilet. We also had 3 cyclists join us in the early evening. We are extremley proud of the girls for being so brave and taking to it so easily. We are already planning another Bothy trip 😃 A bothy is a basic shelter, usually left unlocked and available for anyone to use free of charge. It was also a term for basic accommodation, usually for gardeners or other workers on an estate. Bothies are found in remote mountainous areas of Scotland, Northern England, Ulster and Wales.
