He will also attend the 10th Informal Leaders' Meeting of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Los Cabos, Mexico. Those who saw Jiang off at the Great Hall of the People included Premier Zhu Rongji, Vice-President Hu Jingtao and Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission Zhang Wannian. U.S. President George W. Bush and Chinese President Jiang Zemin are expected to discuss issues concerning North Korea, Iraq and Taiwan, as well as the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, at their meeting later this week, a senior U.S. administration official said Monday.
