WarDragon Pro has matured into a ready-to-go drone detection platform, pre-configured to detect and track drones using WiFi and Bluetooth Remote ID, along with advanced capabilities to detect DroneID within some DJI Ocusync signals. This video focuses on setting up a TAK server, the first step in integrating WarDragon Pro into a broader situational awareness network. Important Update Some of my previous videos are now a bit outdated. The SniffleToTAK repo is deprecated and has been replaced by DragonSync, which is already included on WarDragon Pro. https://github.com/alphafox02/DragonSync How WarDragon Pro Works When powered on, WarDragon Pro automatically starts services that provide: Drone detection data on port 4224 in JSON format over ZMQ System status information on port 4225 External or local applications can pull from these ports directly. DragonSync handles this by pulling the data, converting it to CoT, and sending it either over multicast to TAK devices on a network or securely to a TAK server. What This Video Covers This video walks through setting up the latest TAK server on a dedicated PC and explains how WarDragon Pro units can act as headless sensors, feeding real-time drone detection data into TAK. The goal is to create a distributed network where multiple WarDragon units send data to a central TAK server, providing shared situational awareness for connected users. New iOS & Android App for WarDragon Pro A third-party volunteer has been doing great work developing an app that pulls directly from WarDragon. It's already available for iOS and will soon be coming to Android. I’ll cover it in more detail in a future video, but you can check it out here: https://github.com/Root-Down-Digital/... Next Steps – DragonSync Setup & Usage In a follow-on video, I’ll be covering the setup and usage of DragonSync, showing how to configure it to pull data from WarDragon Pro and send it to TAK. More to come—stay tuned! WarDragon Pro available here (when in stock): https://cemaxecuter.com/?product=ward...
