The Marine Ecosystems Community of Practice May 2023 meeting provided a highlight of international projects related to pan-Arctic marine ecosystem observing activities and future plans presented during the annual Arctic Science Summit Week held in February 2023 in Vienna, Austria. The international projects are relevant to the US Arctic and its connectivity to the Arctic system as identified within the US Arctic Research Plan 2022-2026 “Priority Area #2 Arctic Systems Interactions objectives and goals: Enhance our ability to observe, understand, predict, and project the Arctic’s dynamic interconnect systems and their links to the Earth system.” Presentations included: Highlights of international marine observational and coordination programs presented during the Arctic Science Summit Week 2023 in Vienna, Austria: Jackie Grebmeier (UMCES) Results from recent international cooperation within the Marine Working Group (MWG) of the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC): Lee Cooper (UMCES) and Karen Frey (Clark University), US delegates to the IASC MWG Development of the Pan-Arctic Distributed Biological Observatory: Anna Nikolopoulos (Norwegian Polar Institute) Want to join future IARPC Collaborations meetings or webinars?
