TROUT FISHING IN SABRINA BASIN | BLUE LAKE TO HUNGRY PACKER LAKE | 4K

Fall seasons starts and we did a 3-day weekend fishing trip to Sabrina Basin staying in Sabrina campground Friday night and Blue Lake and Sailor Lake the next 2 days. Perfect timing when the trouts start spawning and having great colors. All lakes we visited were abundant of trouts but the best spot to catch them was at any inlet or outlet where school of fish are positioned to catch food. Moonlight Falls was dry this time, and water level was not that high due to dry season. Sailor Lake is just stunning with the Picture Peak in the background. Dingleberry was a nice spot as well to fish and camp. My favorite spot for scenery was Hungry Packer Lake. Blue Lake is the most frequently visited lake on this trail due to proximity from the trail head (3 miles). Moonlight Lake rewarded me at least 8 rainbows and Brookies.
