All appears to be good then a quick look reveals that the threads on the new filters are the same while those on the old filters are one the same and one is different. Questioned tech support for this specific SPA maker and there was no specific reason given. Go figure) It is apparent that one filter is for the recirculating pump that runs 24/7 and flow water through the heater. The other is assumed to be part of the main pumping circuit. The dilemma of the threads should be and easy fix, if the threaded part of the filter is removable. This threaded component at the base of the filter should be retained in the filter by a simple pair of key ways & matching guides. Removal should be 1/4 turn and pull out, with the insertion a reverse operation. Note that there are filters of identical specifications that are slightly shorter. Some suppliers have these at much lower costs. (Why?) Replacement may be more often, though the cost of two such filters appears to be less that one full size.
