"Life is Practice" Yoga Flow Series — Part 2 An invitation to slow down and work with Pyramid Pose, Parsvottanasana. This is the final class in the "Life is Practice" Yoga Flow Series, where everything comes together. No props are cued for this class, but if you’re newer to Pyramid Pose, having two blocks nearby may feel supportive. You’re welcome to take this class on its own, or move through the series in order for a more layered experience—starting with Part 1 (followed by the three short tutorials) Tips and modifications A full, complete pose breakdown A mini flow featuring Pyramid Pose Part 2 (weaves all of that learning into a complete, intentional practice.) Why revisit a pose in a series? Returning to the same posture again and again allows us to notice subtle shifts—physically, mentally, and energetically. Each revisit offers a chance to deepen awareness, refine alignment, and explore new sensations. Just like in life, repetition doesn’t mean stagnation—it creates space for growth, patience, and insight. Approaching life as a practice reminds us that we’re not here to perfect anything. We’re here to show up, learn, adapt, and respond with curiosity instead of judgment. This mindset supports resilience, self-trust, and compassion—on and off the mat. Benefits of Pyramid Pose (Parsvottanasana): Physically, Pyramid Pose strengthens the legs, stretches the hamstrings and calves, supports spinal length, and encourages postural awareness. Energetically, it invites grounding, focus, and inward attention—helping us balance effort with ease and cultivate steady presence. What to expect in this flow: We’ll begin with gentle centering and breathwork, gradually warm up and build toward Pyramid Pose, then mindfully cool down before closing with a short seated reflection.
