Punnoose | The Miracle at Capernaum: Through the Roof 🚧 The Impossible Crowd In the town of Capernaum, Jesus was teaching inside a house so packed that not even a mouse could squeeze through the door. Outside, four friends arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing the "human wall" of people blocking the entrance, they realized they couldn't get through the door—so they decided to go through the roof. 🛠️ The Brilliant Plan The friends climbed onto the flat roof, huffing and puffing as they broke a hole through the ceiling. While the crowd below stared in silence, they carefully lowered their friend’s mat right into the center of the room, directly in front of Jesus. ❤️ A Heart Restored Jesus wasn't upset about the roof; instead, He saw the incredible faith of the four friends. He looked at the man and said: "Take heart, my son. Your sins are forgiven." This upset some teachers of the law who were watching. They thought, "Only God can forgive sins!" Knowing their thoughts, Jesus asked them which was easier: to forgive sins or to tell a paralyzed man to walk? 🚶 The Miraculous Walk To prove He had the authority of God, Jesus turned back to the man on the mat and spoke with a strong voice: "I tell you, get up, take your mat, and go home." Suddenly, the man's toes wiggled and his legs grew strong. He stood up, rolled up his mat, and walked out the door praising God!
