The Least Visited Area of Zion National Park | Kolob Canyon

We visited Zion National Park's Least visited area which is Kolob Canyon in August. Zion is so busy that they will not let you drive through the park like you can most national parks. There is no "less busy" season of Zion so there's no time they will allow you to drive there. You can only use the park's shuttles so they can cut down on the amount of traffic inside the park. We did this at the Grand Canyon, but it's very inconvenient. Sometimes there is a 30 minute wait and weather is weather. We understand the shuttle system is to keep the park's beauty intact, but it also makes it where you don't want to waste half you day just standing in line. However, If you enter the park at Kolob Canyon, you CAN drive your own vehicle inside the park all over this area and lots of other areas. Just something to keep in mind while traveling to Zion.
