The word "Samosa" & its variants cover a vast variety of dumplings and pastries which are popular from north-eastern Africa to western China. Samosa was introduced by the Middle Eastern chef's in India, who relocated for employment during the rule of Delhi Sultanate, although some accounts also give credit to merchants for bringing the fare to this part of the world. Later, after earning the blessings and love of the Indian royalty, the samosa soon became a perfect snack for the king. Today we will tell you how to make Aloo Paneer Samosa. It is a perfect snack we generally eat at home with evening tea.we will make it easier and perfect samosa recipe. ⯈ Recipe Summary • Preparation time: 10~15 minutes • Cooking time: 30 minutes • Serves: 3-4 ⯈ Dough Ingredient List • 2 cups All purpose Flour • 1/2 tbsp Ajowan (Ajwain) • 1/2 tbsp salt(or as per taste) • 5 tbsp Oil • Oil for frying ⯈ Dough Preparation Method • Put All purpose Flour in a bowl, add Ajwain, salt and Oil, mix it well. • Add 1/2 cup water in parts and make a dough. Keep it for 15~20 mins after covering it with wet cloth. ⯈ Stuffing Ingredient List • 3 medium size Potatoes(Boiled & mashed) • 2 tbsp oil • A pinch of Hing (Asafetida) • 1/2 tbsp Coriander seeds • 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds • 1 tbsp Ginger paste • 2 Green chilli (finely chopped) • 1 bowl Green peas • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala • 1/2 tsp cumin powder • 1 tsp Coriander powder • salt as per taste • 1/2 tbsp Kasuri Methi • 1 tsp Red chilli powder • 1/2 tbsp Dry Mango Powder • 1/2 cup Diced Paneer • 1/2 cup Coriander leaves (chopped) ⯈ Stuffing Preparation Method • Heat the pan on medium flame, add 2 tbsp oil. • Once oil gets heated add Hing, Coriander seeds, Cumin seeds and Ginger paste, mix it well till it gets golden brown. • Now add Green chilli and peas and fry it for 2~3 mins. • Add potatoes and mix it well. • Add Garam Masala, Cumin powder, Coriander powder, salt, Kasuri Methi, Red chilli powder, Dry Mango Powder and mix it. • Now add Paneer, mix it and cook it for 4~5 mins. • Add Paneer, mix it and cook it for 4~5 mins. • Now add Coriander leaves and mix it, now your stuffing is ready and keep it to cool. ⯈ Final Samosa Preparation • knead to the dough for 3~4 mins before rolling it and make medium size balls from it. • Roll one dough ball into a circle-oval kind of shape, around 7~8 inches in diameter and then cut it into two parts. • Take one part and apply water/flour paste (mix water in flour) on the straight edge/side. • Make cone shape by joining the pointed ends. • Fill stuffing in it, apply some flour paste on opening ends and seal it by pinching the edges. • Heat the pan on medium flame and add oil in it when oil gets heated turn flame to low. • Now put samosa into the pan and fry it from both the sides till it gets golden brown. • Serve it will green Coriander chutney and ketchup. ⯈ Note • Do not Fry samosa's on High flame otherwise bubble will be formed on the outer surface.
