Most people do not own the same business forever, and that is a big reason deal flow keeps moving. A lot of owners run a company for seven or eight years, sell it, and then move on to the next thing. In many cases, the business sale is what even pays off the SBA loan and creates capital for the next deal. You also see a lot of strong buyers coming out of corporate environments, especially in tech-heavy markets. People spend years building skills, saving money, and learning how organizations run. Then they are ready to step out of corporate life and buy a business of their own. That steady cycle of sellers exiting and new buyers stepping in is why I do not see deal activity slowing down. The players change, but the market keeps moving.
