R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 (PS1) Challenge Run - all DRT Extra Trials Won With Subpar Cars

Finally to finish off my challenge run of beating R4s extra trials with supbar cars without resorting to excessive amount of blocking, its finally time to complete all DRT trials. Compared to the RTS trials, the opponents average top speed are actually much lower being on average at the 150MPH mark which means that its possible to win with the best Stage 3 cars. The race will be very tight as they will slowly catch up to you on corners but you will pull away ever so slightly wherever you can maintain almost maximum speed so the key is being consistent. Against the Lizard Nightmare however its a different story: even through he still has the same top speed, he is able to maintain its maximum speed even on the sharpest corners and if you use a Stage 3 car he will pass you in 2 corners and then slowly pull away from you so using the worst Stage 4 car is necessary but thats also a problem: the Stage 4 Bonfire from the DRT team has the absolute WORST drift response in the game alongside Stage 4 Prophetie for the same team ( this was made intentionally to kinda simulate the budget problems of the RTS since you are not winning 1st place the entire time) so instead i use the Stage 4 Detector which is the 2nd worst Stage 4 Car as it doesnt have drift response problems. #RidgeRacerType4,#R4,#RacingGames,#Namco,#ps1,#playstation If you enjoy the contents of my channel as much as how much i love making then, don't forget to like,share,subscribe,turn on the bells of notification and most importantly, have fun! ➡️Link to subscription:    / @rugalbernstein777
