🇲🇽The Do’s & Don’ts to Mexican food in Cabo & San Jose ! A Guide to the TOP foods In Mexico 2025🇲🇽mx 🔻🔻🔻Click Here For More Videos & Recommendations! 🔻🔻🔻 / @sweetlifeofliv ———————— Our adventure to Cabo during Día de los Muertos was more than just a vacation—it was an immersive journey into the heart of Mexican culture, flavors, and traditions. Over ten unforgettable days, we explored both Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, venturing beyond the all-inclusive resorts to uncover the best food and drink spots that most tourists never experience. If you truly want to taste the essence of Cabo, you have to step outside the resort walls and follow the locals. That’s exactly what we did, and it led us to some of the most incredible meals of our lives. Let’s be clear—resorts may be convenient, but when it comes to food, they rarely do justice to the rich culinary scene that Mexico has to offer. Watered-down flavors, overpriced plates, and a lack of authenticity make them a poor choice for true food lovers. Instead, we hit the streets, where the real magic happens. The first stop on our food tour was Tacos Gardenias in Cabo San Lucas, a humble taco stand serving some of the best tacos al pastor, crispy fish tacos, and shrimp tacos we’ve ever had. Each bite, topped with fresh salsa and a squeeze of lime, was a perfect introduction to Cabo’s street food scene. In San José del Cabo, we discovered La Lupita Taco & Mezcal, where slow-cooked barbacoa and tender cochinita pibil tacos stole the show. Paired with a smoky mezcal cocktail, this meal set the tone for the rest of our trip. Being in a coastal paradise meant that fresh seafood was always within reach, and we took full advantage. At Mariscos El Toro Güero in San José del Cabo, we indulged in a massive seafood platter piled high with shrimp, octopus, scallops, and fish ceviche. The aguachile, with its fiery citrus kick, was easily one of the best dishes we had all trip. Another highlight was The Office on the Beach, a laid-back spot where we enjoyed fresh lobster tacos with our toes in the sand, washing it all down with an ice-cold Pacifico beer as the waves crashed nearby. Of course, no trip to Mexico is complete without sampling its finest drinks. From the expertly crafted margaritas at Edith’s to the smoky mezcal flights at La Revolución, every sip was a celebration of local flavors. One of our favorite discoveries was Acre, a hidden cocktail bar tucked away in a lush jungle setting in San José del Cabo. Their innovative drinks, made with house-infused syrups and fresh regional ingredients, were nothing short of spectacular. Experiencing Día de los Muertos in Cabo was a feast for the senses. The streets were alive with vibrant altars adorned with marigolds, the air filled with the scent of copal incense, and the sounds of mariachi music echoing through the night. The food during this time was even more special—sweet pan de muerto, tamales wrapped in banana leaves, and warm, spiced atole that felt like a comforting embrace in a cup. Every meal, every drink, and every moment of this celebration reminded us why Mexican culture is so deeply intertwined with its food traditions. If you’re planning a trip to Cabo and want to eat and drink like a local, skip the resorts and let us be your guide. Over the next few posts, we’ll share every must-visit spot, from taco stands and seafood joints to mezcalerías and hidden cocktail bars. Get ready to experience the real Cabo—one unforgettable bite at a time. ———————— #CaboSanLucas #SanJoseDelCabo #VisitCabo #LosCabosMexico #DiscoverCabo #ExploreCabo #CaboVibes #CaboGetaway #TravelMexico #BajaCaliforniaSur #CaboEats #CaboFoodie #TacoLover #MexicanFood #SeafoodLover #CaboTacos #MezcalTime #MargaritaLife #FoodiesOfInstagram #EatLikeALocal #CaboBeaches #LoversBeach #ElArcoCabo #SunsetInCabo #OceanViews #BeachLife #SnorkelingCabo #CaboSunsets #NatureLover #ParadiseFound #DiaDeLosMuertos #MexicanCulture #VivaMexico #CelebrateLife #TraditionalMexico #Ofrendas #SugarSkulls #FiestaTime #MexicanTradition #CulturalJourney #CaboAdventures #BajaExplorer #WhaleWatching #ScubaDiving #CaboHiking #JetSkiFun #DeepSeaFishing #OffRoadBaja #HorsebackRiding #ZipLiningAdventure #LuxuryTravel #BoutiqueHotels #PoolsideVibes #SpaDay #RelaxInCabo #RomanticGetaway #SunKissed #VacationModeOn #BeachResort #TropicalParadise ———————— Subscribe to our Youtube Page : • Travel With Taras & Olivia.
